Junior National Team
The [Junior National Team] program consists in order to compete in the World Junior Championships which are hosted every four years by the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF). Players must be 22-years-of-age or younger to be eligible to compete.
Canada hosted the inaugural World Junior National Championships in 1997 and went on to win the tournament. Four years later, in 2001 they won their second consecutive Championship.
The Junior Program works in conjunction with the [Sr. Men's Program] and many Junior athletes go on to compete on the Sr. Men's National Team.
