Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League - Open

The Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League (CWBL) was founded in 1986 and has two primary divisions; CWBL Open and CWBL Women.

The CWBL Open Division

The CWBL Open Division is a fully integrated league, featuring male and female athletes with and without a disability playing together in a spirit of competition and camaraderie. The nationwide league begins in September and culminates at the league finals in April. Club teams from across the country compete in their respective conferences to gain a spot at the [CWBL Open Championships] finals where the top eight teams vie for the national title.
