The Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League (CWBL) National Championship takes place every spring as competitive club teams from across Canada compete for the title of national champion.
The CWBL National Championship is the premiere national event on the annual domestic wheelchair basketball calendar. The event also plays host to the Wheelchair Basketball Canada annual awards banquet.
Every year, competitive club teams nationwide compete for the Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League (CWBL) National Championship.
In 2024, the tournament will be hosted by Parasport New Brunswick at the Richard J. Currie Center in Fredericton, N.B., from April 26-28, 2024.

Tournament Information
At this event, there will be two levels of competition as follows:
National Championship – Open to club and provincial teams playing a 5v5 format. This competition will begin on Friday, April 26th, with the championship games on Sunday, April 28th, followed by the team medal ceremony.
Recreational – Open to individuals* and teams playing a 3×3 format. This competition will begin on Saturday morning, April 27th, with the championship games on Sunday, April 28th, followed by the team medal ceremony.
*Individual players may enter the recreational division and be placed on a team before the first game on April 25th. To join as an individual, please contact the Provincial Sport Organization in your area.
Minis (U16) – The East Coast Wheelchair Basketball League will host a minis 3×3 tournament.
