Canada will play a series of four exhibition games against Germany

Wheelchair Basketball Canada announced that 12 athletes will participate in a training camp in Ottawa from June 17-29.

In addition to on-court practices and off-court activities, Canada will host Germany for four exhibition games as preparation continues for selecting the Senior Women’s National Team roster for the 2024 Paralympic Games (August 28-Sept. 8).

“The two-week camp will allow our athletes to build team chemistry on and off the court as we prepare for the Paralympic Games,” said Jeff Dunbrack, Wheelchair Basketball Canada High Performance Director. “The four games against Germany will assist our athletes with the needed reps in preparation for Paris.”
