Team Canada will play six friendlies over seven days
Wheelchair Basketball Canada announced that 12 athletes will participate in a camp and international games from July 11-15 in Ulm, Germany, before travelling to Arnhem in the Netherlands July 16-18 for training and friendlies against the Dutch.
The eight days will feature a mix of games and practices as the Senior Men’s National Team continues its preparations for the 2024 Paralympic Games. Team Canada will play friendlies against Great Britain, Germany and the Netherlands in Ulm and face the Netherlands in three exhibition games in Arnhem.
“This camp will allow our athletes to build team chemistry on and off the court as we prepare for Paris,” said Jeff Dunbrack, Wheelchair Basketball Canada High Performance Director. “The six games in Germany and the Netherlands will provide our team with an opportunity to increase game reps together ahead of the Paralympic Games.”
