Women’s camp set for the Netherlands

Nine athletes will participate in games and practices over five days

Wheelchair Basketball Canada announced that nine athletes will participate in a camp from November 7-12, 2022, in Arnhem, Netherlands.

The five days will feature a mix of games and practices – the Senior Women’s National Team will play four exhibition games against the Dutch – an opportunity for game competition against the 2020 Paralympic Gold Medalists.

“This camp will allow our athletes to build team chemistry on and off the court as we prepare for the 2023 season,” said Jeff Dunbrack, Wheelchair Basketball Canada High Performance Director. “The four games against the Dutch will provide our women’s team an opportunity to increase game experience.”
